Price is going up, up, up!

Hello, dear customers and prospective ones :-). I’m writing again from the trenches to inform you that Turbocharged is going to cost way more.

(cue the mourning music…)

“But, why?” I hear you ask. It’s rather simple. Turbocharged has been continually receiving new value, but no price adjustment took place, ever. At the same time, development costs did go up.

And, honestly, the old price was simply not properly targeted to the current audience. I don’t regret a single bit the fact that current Turbocharged customers have benefited from the low introductory price ($50).

But most people who could really pay $50 did not appreciate the value proposition, and did not purchase Turbocharged. I can’t really blame them because, after all, we could have been making marketing mistakes anyway. But they were never our primary target market in the first place.

Furthermore, our customers have already derived (at least) tens of thousands of dollars in income, powered by Turbocharged. If you intend to make money with your blog or Web site, the new price ($150) is chump change. And, let’s face it, our product has the best value proposition in the market. Yes, even after the price hike.

Just keep this in mind: this business has never been about extracting monopoly rents from our customers. You make a single payment and get all the benefits (yes, even the free support). And even then, you’re free to do anything with the software. It’s plain free software, in the sense of freedom.

For those of you who have been out-priced… don’t despair! We’ll be unveiling customized editions of Turbocharged and more products which fit your needs and save you money. Yes, more than before.

So, as a final note, I urge you to purchase Turbocharged now. You’ll save $99 in the process!
