Turbocharged includes four beautiful, accessible and standards-compliant themes with more than ten different styles in total. Get them now by purchasing one of the Turbocharged packages.

The included themes:

• automatically detect active plugins and show extra information on your Web pages,
• let you rearrange the sidebars of your site via drag-and-drop,
• let you add code for advertising and affiliate programs,
• integrate reams of functionality so you don’t have to
• are usable both as templates for serious Web sites or informal blogs
• perhaps most importantly, they’re geared for good SE (search engine) presence: your site gets on search engines more quickly and appears higher on potential visitors’ search engine results.

You can instantly switch themes using the Presentation panel, available through your blog’s Web configuration panel. The configuration panel also lets you alter various theme settings and choose from different styles.

All themes have integrated customization controls (but some are more customizable than others). To customize the look of your site beyond the integrated customization controls, you can change the files and images of your chosen theme.

Let’s stop talking generalities, and go down to the detail. Here’s what the bundled themes offer, out-of-the-box.

The included themes are standards-compliant, use semantic markup (important for search engines and people with disabilities), degrade gracefully on old browsers and low screen resolutions. Did we mention they’re beautiful and easily customizable?

Of course, you’re not restricted to these themes. You can install any WordPress 2.0+ compatible theme in your Turbocharged-powered site or blog — and it’ll work.

Burnin’ R

Widgets-compatible (”widgetized”) themes, like Burnin’ R, can have their sidebars customized via drag-and-drop through the Web, without editing files

Burnin’ R is the flagship Turbocharged theme. It’s a three-column theme designed around a red palette, and semi-fluid layouts. It’s also sold separately, but Turbocharged bundles it for free! Here’s a short list of unique Burnin’ R features:

• Full Widgets support. Once activated, the sidebar tiles can be rearranged via drag-and-drop. Several popular plugins are automatically widgetized without the need for special third-party widgets.

• Two styles to choose from, selectable via the Burnin’ R administration panel or the reader’s Web browser. Here’s how the two styles look like:

  

• Variable font sizes. Font sizes can be changed via the reader’s Web browser controls, which helps people with eyesight difficulties.
• Very customizable. The header comes with a clip art picture that’s easily changed, and the stylesheet color palette is fully documented in the stylesheet.

Binary Blue is a heavily tuned WordPress theme, with tons of built-in functionality. Of all the themes included in Turbocharged, Binary Blue is probably the best suited for non-blog Web sites built with WordPress.

The most amazing feature of Binary Blue is its amazing ability to change styles right through the administration screen. And what a gorgeous five styles it packs! See three of the styles for yourself, on the sidebar.
