Twitter Better is a WordPress plugin that lets you seamlessly integrate Twitter with your blog. If you’re both WordPress fan and Twitter junkie, you’ll love it.

Keep everyone posted — without effort

With Twitter Better, you can do two separate things:

1. Notify your blog’s followers of updates in your blog. We recommend creating a separate Twitter account for your blog and publicizing it, but you can use your own Twitter account if you like.
2. Display a sidebar widget with Twitter status updates, in real time. You can display the status of any public Twitter user, not just yours; you can also display your friends’s status.

Download and installation

Twitter Better can be obtained by purchasing Turbocharged, which includes 100 plugins and 10 themes, plus support and warranty (on select editions).

Alternatively, Twitter Better can be downloaded for free right here. Installation instructions are simple: unzip, upload to plugins folder, activate. If you need guidance, use our tutorial. In this case, support is available for a fee at our help and support center.

Licensing and authorship

This plugin was originally written by Victoria. I improved it, incorporated a publicly available fix by James Cridland and developed the widget code based on the RSS widget.

Licensing for this plugin is… unclear, but I’ve obtained clearance from Victoria to redistribute her code: You can do what you like with it. But it would be nice if you could drop a comment or a link here about what you’ve done to it if it would benefit the other users.
